Apartment Review for Pinewood Estates - Albuquerque, NM

This place is very deceiving. And has gotten worse and they have gotten lazier over the years. I recently moved out after 3 years, and will be calling the health authorities. When my family lived there we had 5 major leaks, 2 of which were the same leaks twice, the Maintenance is horrible, they intially come and "LOOK" at the problem and say they will be back, and they take months, even when you bug them. The roaches are out of control, they practically attack your feet if you go out after dark. The pool is only cleaned once a year in the summer. We lived across from the pool, it was embarassing to invite friends and family over. The laundry facilities were not locked up properly, and on more than one occasion I found urine in the dryers and fecal on the side of the dryers!! Disgusting place to live and has only gotten worse over time. The "security" that they had who lived on the premises, was not only a drug dealer, but was the one who had loud parties until 5 in the morning. The only nice thing about these apartments was the lady in the office. Oh and not to mention that my car got broken into, from the lack of lights around the complex. Way overpriced!!! And when your lease is up, they will raise your rent $20 a month until you sign a new lease. The manager said it was because they weren't up to market value yet. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! And last but not least, since my daughter was born 2 years ago, she has been in and out of the doctor at least once a month, from the mold that I almost guarantee we had in our apartment. Has not been sick since we moved almost 3 months ago!!
