Apartment Review for Lakes The - Albuquerque, NM

My husband and I rented an apartment from the Lakes and it was horrible, the first night we moved in we had a box of DVD's and movies stolen from inside the truck, then two weeks later 2 of you expensive tires were slashed along with 3 or 4 other vehicles. Now here's the worst, we were both working out of town for the month we lived there, we spent a total of 5 nights actually staying there. It got to the point where I couldn't walk out the door without fear of being mugged or killed. When we called and told the managers all they said was "that sucks" when we decided to break our lease they made sure to give us the hardest time. They charged us 1500 dollars to break it, and the apt was only 600 a month. This is the worst apt I have ever lived in.
