Apartment Review for Lafayette Square Apartments - Albuquerque, NM

Although this apartment complex is meant for low income families and federally funded by HUD, I would not recommend this complex to anyone! The management is lousy, the mainteneance team is even worse. All maintenance requests that we have submited my husband has fixed well before the maintneance team has gotten around to it. We have been waiting for a new refridgerator since February and it's already almost July and no fridge. Crime is high in this neighborhood. Not safe at all for children. There is only one, very small laundry facility for a complex of at least 18 buildings and no other real amenities to speak of. To move into this complex was the biggest mistake that my family has made and we are paying for it now. When our lease is up in January we will be moving out.
