Apartment Review for La Paloma Apartments - Albuquerque, NM

Office staff is terrible and management is rude. To name a few incidents: I had to call about six times to get my dryer fixed before someone finally getting to it about three weeks later, in which case they said nothing was wrong with it. I called again and they changed the vent hose, which still did not fix the issue. I called again and they cleaned the vent and still did not work. I asked to have it replaced and was denied. I finally gave up. They then decided to raise our trash fees from $2 to $10 without official notice and on top of raising the fee, they removed about half of the trash bins, which now is an inconvenience for several people. My neighbor called to see why the fees had increased so dramatically all of a sudden and they blamed the city. BTW the city was called and their fees had not changed. I also called about a mold problem, which is considered a health hazard, and they took three days to come look at it (would have been longer if I did not keep pestering them). They are money hungry and expect their rent on time yet they do not like to replace or fix anything within a timely fashion. As far as safety goes, well lets just say not so much. Someone was shot and murdered, another stabbed, and a SUV was lit on fire. Also I called about kids lighting fireworks and tossing them from the park towards the tenants vehicles and they said it was not their problem because the park was not considered part of their property.
