Apartment Review for La Paloma Apartments - Albuquerque, NM

I have lived at La Paloma for 6 years. My carpet is as old as the complex which I believe is about 15 years. The carpet cleaners told me that there was no point as the carpet is pretty bald. I have been looking at other apts and what a difference having a fresh carpet makes on your feet. Yesterday, I tripped on my kitchen linoleum because it is peeling upwards from shoddy workmanship one year ago. There are no sheep at Paloma, however, if you suffer from insomnia and need something to count...try the carpenter ants. They are amazing and seem to enter with ease through the cracks in the baseboard. Last week, I tripped on the stairs in the courtyard because 3 lamposts are out and it is so dark. I have asked 3 times to Management to fix the lights but they do not take my maintenace request seriously. Beware of the so-called security patrol. I never see them patrolling and we really need some protection over here. There are a few vagrant homeless who bum cigarettes and ask for money who run freely on the campus here. In fact, they were sleeping in the pool area and laundry facility over the summer months. They stink.
