Apartment Review for La Paloma Apartments - Albuquerque, NM

My main concern these days is coming home. I have lived here for 3 years and the crime scene is only getting worse. Bottom line is that La Paloma is not gated and as a result the community has experienced car breaks-in, car theft at gunpoint, tire slashing, apt break-ins and a meth-lab bust. As far as the apts go... cute, but not terribly modern. The carpets are cheap, and the apts are not very clean at move-in. The greatest asset is the short walking distance to Starbucks. If you like coyotes, this is the place for you. The Arroyo is in your backyard. I think it is time to look at gated-communities.
