Apartment Review for La Paloma Apartments - Albuquerque, NM

Well, when I moved into my apartment it was not cleaned, very dirty. It looked like the carpet had been cleaned and thats it. I spent four hours cleaning before I could unpack. There was caked on dirt. The maid obviously does not pay attention to detail, to say the least.

Cosmetically, the counter tops were all knifed up, the carpet was old, the paint was dingy like a smoker had chain-smoked in the apartment non-stop, seriously. The linoleum was peeling behind both bathroom toilets, faucets were literally falling apartment and very dirty. For an apartment complex who advertises themselves as luxury apartments, this was far from luxury.

There were huge spaces between window seals letting out the air conditioning causing my air conditioner to pop on non-stop or else the apartment is frying hot in the summer or freezing in the winter, had to seal up myself. The windows have no screens. Don't rent one by the playground, it is extremely busy and loud. The paint was chipping and falling onto by bed fron the inside area of my ceiling fan around the bulbs.

I really think this complex severely neglects regular maintanance of their apartments, you have to tell them to do everything, in which some things they will not do. I have learned in the past that the model apartment you are shown is never close to what you'll actually be getting, but in this case it was worse than I had ever experienced in previous apartment complexes.

I have lived there from 2005 - 2007, I was not able to put 2007 when selecting because it only goes up too 2006.
