Apartment Review for Academy Terrace Apartments - Albuquerque, NM

When I moved in to my "newly upgraded" apartment it was a disaster. The air conditioning didn't work, the stove wasn't hooked up, the sink leaked, the front door didn't fit the door jam and there was a huge gap that let hot air and plenty of bugs in. The second bedroom had a closet door that wasn't hung appropriately and it took 6 months to get maintenance to hang a shelving unit and clothes bar in it (they just couldn't get the parts...for 6 months?!!). The office staff is constantly turning over and are not particularly friendly. Maintenance is constantly turning over as well. Absolutely nothing gets done in an efficient manner. Since the apartments are literally on the corner of Academy and McKinney the traffic noise is horrible. I would avoid this place like the plague. I'd never live here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone for any period of time.
